Folklore ensemble „ Rozmarija“ working at ABC – Center of free time since 1992 (21 years). At the present time has 90 members in age from 5 to 14 years old, thanks 8 professional leaders like 8 artistic-pedagogical workers. Keeping and presentating dance, music and folk of east Slovakia region of ŠARIŠ in original autentic costumes. Program is in temperament humour - theatre form with some certain extent of stylization with young original cymbal folk music. During the existention prepared 7 first nights and represened not just Prešov, but all Slovakia on 3 5 world festivals which were organized under patronage C.I.O.F.F. and I.O.V. UNESCO in 11 states of Europe and Asia (Sweden, Germany, Poland, Hungarian, Czech republic, Bulgaria, Greece, Lithuania, Russia, Belarus, Turkey) on high level. In 2004 children folk ensemble Rozmarija published first children music CD porter named „Rozmarija – How nice is growing".
POLANDFolk Group “Szamotuły” was established in 1945 and from the beginning, its main objective is to promote local folklore and save the historical and cultural differences of the land of Szamotuły. Thanks to that, it gained great popularity and has become a role model for groups across the entire country that in their repertoire reach out to heritage of Szamotuły region. Janina Foltyn - known folklore specialist and local activist, especially renowned in the field of culture and folk art was group manager for a very long time. The most famous work of the group is a spectacle “Szamotuły wedding”, which was presented for the first time in 1950. Currently different age groups of children, youth and adults from both the town of Szamotuły, as well as many towns and villages around the Szamotuly district, dance and sing in the group. The youngest members of the group also learn how to play the flute, appear on stage, and present Polish folk music in all its aspects, not just dance. The band performs both at home and abroad. It was applauded among others in Germany, France, Portugal, Italy, the Balkans, Scandinavia and many other European countries, as well as Turkey and Brazil.
POLANDThe Children’s Folk Dance and Song Group „Modraki” was founded in 2001 at Cultural Centre “Sezam” in Tarnowo Podgórne, a community close to Poznań. The “Modraki” Group collaborates with a folk band called ”Po zagonach”. As much as 50 children of 6 to 17 years of age are performing in the dancing group. Dances from Wielkopolska, Łowicz, Śląsk, Rzeszów, Kaszuby and Kraków regions can be found in group’s repertoire. The Group participated in numerous events in the commune of Tarnowo Podgórne and in the city of Poznań as well as abroad. They have also recorded three CD albums with Christmas carols and popular Polish songs.
POLANDThe Children's Folk Group "Cepelia-Poznań" of the Youth House of Culture No 3 in Poznań was founded in 1988. Approximately 80 children in the age of 6 to 15 take part in dance, vocal and folk instruments workshops. Our folk band consists of professional musicians, who also take part in workshops.
Children present their skills during performances in Poznań, Wielkopolska district and all Poland. They are also ambassadors of Polish culture abroad as they performed in France, Croatia, Holland, Germany, Russia, Austria, Macedonia, The United Kingdom, Latvia, Hungary, Cyprus, Taiwan, Italy, Turkey, Bulgaria and India. In the Vatican children performed for the Pope. The Children's Folk Group "Cepelia-Poznań" is a member of the International Council of Associations, Festivals and Folk Art (CIOFF). |
Ghungroo Musical Club Chandigarh was formed in 1987, with intention to bringing people of the world together through the medium of culture, music and folk dances. Like-minded professional who have converged and aim towards high class events manage the club. During the tenure of almost 26 years the club has organized various prestigious shows. In the year 1993, 2003, 2004, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 & 2012 invited various International Folk Dance Groups and also participated different International Folk Dance Festivals.
CROATIAChildren's Folklore Ensemble "Klek- Sv. Juraj" has got 35 children, 10 to 15 years ago, and cultivates the traditional children’s customs, songs and dances from Ogulin region and various parts of Croatia, of course adapted to their age. Regularly participate on festivals of children's folklore creativity across the country and regularly at festivals in our region, Karlovac County, will receive the best grades of commission. Two years ago and last year, at the national competition festival of children's folklore creation won second place. They dances with tamburitza players. Children’s folklore ensemble “Klek - Sv.Juraj” performed on many international children’s festival in Croatia: in Zagreb, Đakovo, Vinkovci, Karlovac, Slavonski Brod… and on festivals on Turky, Macedonia, Italy and Belgium.
POLANDThe only one in Poland Integration of Polish Dances Club was established in 2004 at the School with Integrated Sections no 2 in Poznań. Its participants are disabled children and members of Children’s Folk Group “Cepelia -Poznan”. Through their involvement dancers desire to overcome barriers and show to their contemporaries that dance is most of all a great aesthetic feeling, wonderful fun, panacea for the concerns and inconveniencies of everyday life and meeting the needs of social contacts. The founder, choreographer and master of education of the group is Jadwiga Banaś. Multiple performances inPoznań, at the festivals in Kołobrzeg,Warsaw,Olsztyn always aroused applause of audience, leaving an unforgettable impression. The group won the First Prize at the VII Festival of Disabled People’s Artistic Creativity inGniezno as well as Audience Award. They also representedPoland at II Worldwide Festival of Disabled Children “Smiling Child” in Istanbul.
POLANDSong and Dance Ensemble of the Kórnik Land was established in 2011. Choreography classes are conducted by Mariusz Zielinski - head of Song and Dance Ensemble “Thatch” of the Culture Centre in Trzemeszno. The vocal and music part is the responsibility of Krystyna Polachowska - long-time coach of folk music. The repertoire covers folk dances of the Wielkopolska region. Especially noteworthy are outfits that are replicas of the nineteenth century costumes from around Kornik, developed and manufactured by Renata Kałek – costume designer. Despite the short period of activity the ensemble has achieved its first ever successes in the Balkan Folk Fest 2012.
