INDIAGhungroo Musical Club Chandigarh was formed in 1987, with intention to bringing people of the world together through the medium of culture, music and folk dances.The club already organizes many Fashion, Cultural and International Festival since 1987. In the year 1993,2003,2007,2009 & 2010 club invited different International Folk Dance Groups from Finland, Czech Republic, Saint Paul Reunion-France, Spain and Poland. The club has also performed in the various International Folklore Festivals in Russia, Czech Republic and Jordan in year 1993, 2004 and 2008, which were widely acclaimed and appreciated by everyone & media as well.
POLANDChildren’s Folk Group „Tatry” from Ratułów in Poland was founded in 1993. The group works under the auspices of “Podhalanie Association” and it counts approximatly 50 members. The group appearances at many culture events in its village and Czarny Dunajec Community. It also took part in international folk festivals in Holland, Bulgaria, Italy and in the festival “Feast of the Mountain Children” in Nowy Sącz. The group has won many awards at Polishwide competitions of folklore.
POLANDThe only one in Poland Integration of Polish Dances Club was established in 2004 at the School with Integrated Sections no 2 in Poznań. Its participants are disabled children and members of Children’s Folk Group “Cepelia -Poznan”. Through their involvement dancers desire to overcome barriers and show to their contemporaries that dance is most of all a great aesthetic feeling, wonderful fun, panacea for the concerns and inconveniencies of everyday life and meeting the needs of social contacts. The founder, choreographer and master of education of the group is Jadwiga Banaś. Multiple performances inPoznań, at the festivals in Kołobrzeg,Warsaw,Olsztyn always aroused applause of audience, leaving an unforgettable impression. The group won the First Prize at the VII Festival of Disabled People’s Artistic Creativity inGniezno as well as Audience Award. They also representedPoland at II Worldwide Festival of Disabled Children “Smiling Child” in Istanbul.

BULGARIAChildren Folk Dance Ensemble “Iglika” was founded in 1978 in Tsarevo, Bulgaria by Damyan Damyanov. The participants are from 8 to 16 years old. Dances and songs they perform are from all the regions of Bulgaria.They show Bulgarian folklore tradition, the spirit and culture kept through the ages to nowadays in combination with traditional Bulgarian costumes. "Iglika" took part in many falk festivals in Tsarevo and the region, participated in festivals in France, Russia, Luxemburg, Finland, Poland, Greece, Turkey, Czech Republic, Belgium, Germany, Cyprus and Mexico with more than five hundred concerts.
POLANDThe Children’s Folk and Dance Group „Wiwaty” from Culture Center in Pobiedziska was founded in 1971. Its name comes from the most popular traditional Wielkopolska dance. The group has become famous for a good name of its community, district and province by very attractive performances. It cultivates folk tradition of its region and others in Poland. For people who live far away from their home it brings Polish folk music closer. “Wiwaty” presents the artistic program on a high level that is why they have many successes in Poland and abroad. The group has presented the Polish folklore in 27 countries, performed more than thousand times and is the winner of many contests.
POLANDThe Children's Folk Group "Cepelia-Poznań" of the Youth House of Culture No 3 in Poznań was founded in 1988. Approximately 80 children in the age of 6 to 15 take part in dance, vocal and folk instruments workshops. Our folk band consists of professional musicians, who also take part in workshops. Children present their skills during performances in Poznań, Wielkopolska district and all Poland. They are also ambassadors of Polish culture abroad as they performed in France, Croatia, Holland, Germany, Russia, Austria, Macedonia, The United Kingdom, Latvia, Hungary, Cyprus, Taiwan, Italy, Turkey and Bulgaria. In the Vatican children performed for the Pope. The Children's Folk Group "Cepelia-Poznań" is a member of the International Council of Associations, Festivals and Folk Art (CIOFF).
Children’s Folk Group „Marynia” from Wronki was founded in 1993 and works in Wronki Cultural Center. Members of the group are children from primary and secondary schools from Wronki and neighbouring villages. The main purpose of their activity is to cultivate a native folklore. They present the artistic program in original costumes based on museum patterns, made by folk artists. |
